MMO Programs was established in 1982 by the First Congregational Church of Montclair as a non-sectarian, non-profit child care and nursery school program. MMO is fully licensed by the State of New Jersey. Through its three programs, My Morning Out (18 months to 2 ½ years), Nursery Years (classes for 2 ½ through Pre-Kindergarten) and Summer Days (3 – 6 year olds), it serves approximately 200 children per year whose families live in Montclair, and the surrounding communities.
MMO’s primary focus is to foster the social, emotional, intellectual and physical development of each child within the community of the classroom. Our high adult/child ratios enable MMO to provide a warm and nurturing environment that stimulates both physical and mental creativity, discovery, inquiry and problem solving.
